Here you'll find general information about our project, its background and the goals we're aiming to accomplish. Since its beginning, our team and community have worked to continuously improve the project so that it's a true reflection of our love and respect for Hyunjin, Stray Kids and each other, and we hope that's evident in what we've put forth.
Initial concept art
Our name, created by the founders of our project, is a tribute to Hyunjin's passion, perseverance and artistry. The sepal is a flower's quiet foundation—protecting the bud, then supporting the bloom. In this project, the name reflects our community’s role: a place of care that uplifts and supports the bloom represented by Hyunjin. Our symbols are the lotus and water lily, both of which are representative of resilience through adversity, beauty and strength.
STAYsepal is a collective of creatives of all kinds worldwide—artists, writers, photographers, and more—who share the common goal of showing our appreciation for Hyunjin and Stray Kids as a whole. We are continuously inspired by Hyunjin as a musician, a dancer and, most of all, an artist. On many occasions, Hyunjin has expressed his love for art galleries, so what we've created is our very own virtual gallery in his honor. We hope that this gift reaches him and that he visits often to see what each new exhibition will bring.

Being a community of artists, writers, musicians and more—including some whose livelihood is their art—we have a strong stance against the use of generative AI in creative applications. All of the works in this project are created with care by STAY, as a reflection of the love and positive energy that Hyunjin and Stray Kids gift us with every day. We are also centered on appreciation for our idols as real human beings and will always do our best to respect their boundaries and autonomy. STAYsepal exists to uplift Hyunjin, Stray Kids and each member of its community.
